John K. Delaney, age 47, is the Co-founder, Executive Chairman, and Chairman of the Board of CapitalSource Inc. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of CapitalSource Bank. Mr. Delaney served as the Chief Executive Officer of CapitalSource Inc. from the company’s inception in 2000 through 2009.

From 1993 until its sale to Heller Financial in 1999, Mr. Delaney was founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HealthCare Financial Partners, Inc. (formerly NYSE: HCF), a provider of commercial financing to healthcare service companies.
