Dana M. Smith serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for CapitalSource Inc.; she joined the organization in July 2006. She is responsible for managing the human resources function on behalf of employees and leadership in the United States and Europe from the company’s headquarters in Chevy Chase, MD.
 
Previously HR Director for Constellation Energy's retail businesses as well as Director of HR Consulting and Staffing for Baltimore Gas and Electric, Ms. Smith has held positions of HR Vice President for F&M Bancorp and HR Director for two of Sylvan Learning Systems' companies.  Additionally, she has worked both domestically and overseas in an array of positions for Citicorp.
