Mr. Abbett is the Director of the Real Estate Group within the Structured Finance Business at CapitalSource. He joined CIG International, now owned by CapitalSource, in 1989. Prior to CIG, Mr. Abbett owned a development and property appraisal company, Delta Group, in partnership with three other principals from 1980 to 1987. He began his real estate career in 1972 as an economic consultant with Gladstone Associates.
