Mr. Caruso serves as a Director within CapitalSource's Lender Finance group. He has also served as a Director of Mortgage and Credit within the Real Estate group.

Prior to joining CapitalSource, Mr. Caruso was an Associate Director and Financial Engineer at UBS Warburg where he structured commercial real estate securitizations and developed various financial optimization models for the commercial real estate group. Before joining UBS Warburg, Mr. Caruso was the Director of Financial Engineering with Claritybank.com and a Vice President in Financial Engineering at Credit Suisse First Boston.
