Julia Wu started with CapitalSource in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant. Within a year, she became a Help Desk Technician in the Information Technology group. In 2008, she was promoted to the position of Senior Help Desk Technician, and, in 2012, to Network Engineer.

“A’ha moments—when I solve particularly difficult problems—are the best part of my job. There is a sense of accomplishment when you help resolve an issue and are able to implement a long-term solution.”

Julia does not underestimate the company’s continued contributions to the success of its employees. “The company is very supportive of its employees’ development at different levels of the firm. Not only have I been able to go back to school to pursue an advanced degree, but I’ve also had the opportunity to take field-related training courses that would not have been offered at higher education institutes.”
